Millstatt am See is a cultural highlight and which is over 1000 years old. The old monastery with its cloister and courtyard is a truly meditative place .

Take a nice walk through the town and admire the many founding villas from the time of the KuK monarchy . There is also a wide range of restaurants available in the village.

The Millstätter See is the deepest alpine lake in Carinthia and the velvety soft water with drinking water quality makes swimming a real pleasure.

Surfing and sailing schools offer their services and a bike path around the lake offers the opportunity to swim in nature on the south bank.

From the house you can hike directly to the Millstätter Alpe . Again and again you have a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
On good days you can see the Großglockner and Slovenia and Italy.

The Goldeck is worth a trip at any time of the year. It is especially nice when you enjoy the sunrise at the summit.

Nearby, in Döbriach, you will find the House of Tales "Sagamundo" and the "Granatium" , where you can find out everything about the grenades that you can also find here on the Millstätter Alpe.
A few minutes' walk from the house you can experience nature with horses at the Ambros riding stables.
The "Burg Landskron" with an eagle show and the monkey mountain can be found at the end of the valley. The center of Carinthia and a beautiful spruce candelabra can be found in Arriach , the three-country corner is in Arnoldstein.
